About Education Programs

IV therapy courses are developed according to nationally accepted infusion therapy standards of practice and CDC guidelines to prevent catheter related bloodstream infections.  We modify and update all education programs and keep it current with scope of practice, regulations, and guidelines.

Small group, face-to-face interactive, hands-on IV infusion training programs are scheduled in Des Plaines, Illinois. Seats are assigned on first come, first served basis. During practice sessions, individualized attention is provided to each participant. Upon successful completion of each training program, attendees get a certificate of completion. RNs and LPNs may apply CE credits for license renewals.

About Your Educators

Educators at the infusion therapy Institute hold nationally recognized infusion nurse certification (CRNI) and vascular access board certification (VA-BC) and have extensive experience in acute care hospitals, home infusion therapy and alternate care settings as IV nurses, PICC nurses, educators, consultants and managers. Our preceptors are clinically active PICC nurses and vascular access nurses. We share our knowledge and passion for infusion therapy with our students.
